Accounts · POS · Bank · UPI · Stock · Production · Payroll → one P&L

The operating system for every outlet, plant and rupee.

Floorbooks connects the tools your business already runs on (accounting, POS, banks, UPI, stock, payroll, supplier ledgers) into one live picture of your business. It shows you the P&L for every outlet and plant, every day, and where to improve it: costs to cut, margins to fix, machines to service before they fail.

Works with the tools you already use. Nothing to replace. From the shop counter to the shop floor.

The platform

Twenty files in. One P&L out.

The same six pieces run under every industry, on all three layers.

/0.1

Connect

Wire up every tool and file your business runs on, from the accounts to the till. Direct connections, or the exports they already make.

/0.2

Match

Check every line against every other, from the POS to the passbook. Each number marked reported, provisional or missing.

/0.3

Call-outs

Catch what doesn't add up, from a ₹1,400 cash short to a file that never came, with one owner and a due date.

/0.4

P&L

Profit for every outlet and plant, from yesterday to year-end. Every line opens down to its file and row.

/0.5

Ask

Ask your business a question in plain words, in English, Tamil or Hindi.

/0.6

Improve

Rank what to fix: costs to cut, margins to repair, machines to service before they fail, each with ₹ a month and an owner.

Integrations

Works with the tools you already run. All of them.

Direct connections where a tool has one, and the exports every tool already makes where it doesn't. Nothing to replace, nothing to retype.

Three layers

Start with your files. Add sensors. Then connect everything.

Every Floorbooks business starts on the first layer. Add the next one where it pays back, outlet by outlet, machine by machine.

Where everyone starts

Layer 1

Files and phones.

The books, joined up. No hardware.

  • ✓ Accounting, POS, bank, UPI, stock, payroll and supplier files
  • ✓ Shift, cash and stock entries on a phone
  • ✓ Matching, call-outs and the daily P&L
  • ✓ Morning report on WhatsApp

Layer 2

Sensors on what matters.

The floor reports itself, on the machines that need it.

  • ✓ Clip-on current sensors and energy meters
  • ✓ Downtime timed on its own; the reason asked on the phone
  • ✓ Power cost per tonne or per piece
  • ✓ Weighbridge and temperature feeds
  • ✓ Fitted by your electrician; surveyed and commissioned by us

Layer 3

Everything, connected.

Machines, systems and actions on one model.

  • ✓ Direct CNC and PLC data, machine by machine
  • ✓ Live output and OEE for every line
  • ✓ Maintenance planned from real machine hours
  • ✓ Two-way links to your ERP and other systems
  • ✓ Agents that act on call-outs, with your approval

Improve

See the whole business. Then make it better.

Floorbooks doesn't stop at the P&L. It ranks where you're losing money: costs to cut, margins to fix, machines to service before they fail and cash stuck in stock. Each one gets a rupee figure and an owner, and it checks the saving actually lands.

Cut costs Layer 1 Layer 2

Costs creeping up, caught early.

Card and UPI charges above your plan, supplier prices drifting up, freight above contract, power per unit rising. Compared with your own history, your contracts and your other outlets.

Fix margins Layer 1

Where you sell at a loss.

Products, customers, routes and outlets that lose money, discounts that leak, price lists nobody updated, bills charged at the old rate.

Prevent breakdowns Layer 2 Layer 3

Service it before it fails.

Sensors and machine data show a motor drawing more current, a spindle working harder, a furnace idling between heats. Maintenance is planned from real hours, not a calendar.

Free up cash Layer 1

Money sitting still.

Stock that isn't moving, customers paying later than their terms, advances never adjusted, suppliers you could be paying later.

What you see

Four answers an owner wants every morning.

01 · Profit & loss

Your P&L every day, not weeks later.

02 · Cash and dues

Where every rupee is, right now.

Cash counted at each outlet, cash on its way to the bank, the bank as your books see it and as the statement shows it, card and UPI still settling. And who owes you, and whom you owe, matched to their own statements.

What doesn't add up, called out the same day.

Each gap the matching finds gets one person's name and a due date: cash short, a deposit missing, a bank line nobody can explain, a supplier charging twice, material late from a job worker, a file that never came. It stays on your screen until it's closed with proof.

Where can we save money this month?

Six improvements, worth ₹93,800 a month. The biggest is Press line 1: power per tonne is up 9% since September, about ₹42,000 a month, because the hydraulic pump keeps running at no load between jobs.

Next: three brand bills at the old price list (₹21,600) and card and UPI charges above Outlet 4's plan (₹18,400).

The Floorbooks Model

One model of your business. Every number comes from it.

01 · Data

Every source, all three layers.

Files and phones, sensors on the machines that matter, and machines and systems connected directly.

02 · Rules

How it should add up.

Sales to payments, payments to the bank, counts to deposits, receipts to stock, all of it to your accounts.

03 · Actions

What to do about it.

A call-out or an improvement, with one owner, a due date and a rupee figure. Closed only with proof that it landed.

04 · Access

Who sees what.

Managers see their outlet or plant. Accounts see the money. The owner sees everything. Every change logged.

Twenty files. Thousands of lines. One version of the numbers.

When two files disagree, you know which one, by how much, and who's fixing it.

Impact study · multi-brand franchise group

10 outlets. 4 brands. One P&L.

Integrating 18 kinds of files from 10 outlets across 4 brands into one daily P&L.

Challenge

Eighteen kinds of files, no single picture.

Sales, payment types, receipts, stock, cash book, bank statements, card and UPI settlements, brand ledgers and service files arrived from every outlet in different formats. The P&L came once a month.

Solution

One model of the business.

Floorbooks connected every file type across outlets and bank accounts, matched them daily, marked each number reported, provisional or missing, and called out every gap with an owner.

Impact

The owner sees the day.

Sales against target, cash against bank, stock and dues for every outlet, every morning, with what still doesn't add up and who's fixing it.

Honest comparison

Others do one piece. Floorbooks joins them all.

Accounting software keeps the books. POS software sees its own counter. Reporting tools read one ledger. Floorbooks reads all of them and checks each against the others, for every outlet and plant.

Floorbooks explained

Your books are yours.

We don't sell your data.

Not to lenders, insurers, brands or anyone else. Floorbooks is paid by you, not by your numbers.

Read-only. Nothing replaced.

Floorbooks reads from your accounting, POS and banking tools. It never changes them, and nothing you run is opened to the internet.

Every change is logged.

Who changed which number, when and why. Export everything, or delete it, whenever you want.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they start.

Different question? WhatsApp →

Do I have to replace my software?

+

No. Floorbooks reads from the accounting, POS, banking and stock tools you already use. Your team and your accountant keep working exactly as today.

Our files are messy and all in different formats.

+

That's normal. Each file comes in the way it already arrives, and we map it once. When a file is wrong or late, it's called out, not quietly skipped.

How does Floorbooks find savings?

+

It compares every cost with your own history, your contracts and price lists, and your other outlets or lines. Sensors add power, idle running and downtime; connected machines add wear. Each improvement is ranked by rupees a month, given an owner, and tracked until the saving shows in the P&L.

Do I need sensors?

+

No. Layer 1 is your files and a phone. Add sensors only on the machines where they pay back, and connect machines directly when you are ready.

My business has outlets and a plant. Does that work?

+

Yes. Each outlet, plant and branch has its own P&L, and the group adds them up. Each industry's files and reports sit on the same model.

Is it the same P&L my CA makes?

+

It's built from the same books, every day instead of once a month. Where the daily numbers and your accounts differ, the difference is called out so it's fixed before the CA sees it.

What does it cost?

+

Priced per outlet, plant or branch, as a fixed quote after the demo.

Is my data safe?

+

Your books are yours: we don't sell your data, we only read from your systems, and every change is logged.
